We know that wedding etiquette can at times be overwhelming so we’ve decided to start sharing our favorite tips from Emily Post and other authorities on etiquette with out MHW readers.

Today’s tip: When choosing your bridesmaids and groomsmen you should give them 3-6 months notice. Since this is a very special honor, try to ask your bridesmaids in person. If an in person conversation isn’t possible call and as a last resort email your attendants to see if they will accept. Be sure to give details of location and dates so they can start clearing their calendars.
