Wine Bottles for Future Occasions
Written By: Sara

We recently stumbled across an awesome wedding idea that we had to share. It can take place at an engagement party or even a wedding shower, and it is one that you will enjoy for a long time to come.

Ask each guest coming to your event to bring their favorite bottle of unopened wine with them. Then, each bottle gets designated for the couple to drink at one significant event in the first year of their marriage. For example, after your first fight, while decorating your first Christmas tree, on your first anniversary, and so on.

This is a great way to remember your wedding during these special occasions while you’re a newlywed.

This is a super fun idea for you and your guests that lets them be included in events for a while to come!

Groom Survival Kit
Written By: Sara

One of the most important people at your wedding is of course your groom. As the bride, you get most of the attention, but of course you want to do little things to keep your groom feelings special and ready for the big day.

A sweet and kind gesture on the part of a bride towards her groom is to send him over a little survival kit on the morning of the wedding. You can include a sweet card and have your bridesmaids hand deliver this little care package!

Here are some ideas of what to include:

Lifesavers candies – to “keep him from drowning in emotion” (hehe!)

Socks – to ward off cold feet

A nip of alcohol (his favorite!) – to calm his nerves

Mints – for a fresh kiss

You can really include anything you want in this! A fun idea, right?!

Reinventing Real Items
Written By: Sara

If you’re styling your wedding with a vintage feel and looking for cool table ideas, we have an awesome tip for you!

Recently we saw the idea of using items you already own repurposed as table decor. We can’t believe we didn’t think of this ourselves! How awesome.

We’re especially loving the exact example we read about, which is long strands of costume pearls. Place these on the table around a flower arrangement or table number and viola! You have a beautiful and unique and gorgeous set up. Costume jewelry is especially great for this idea.

We love this because it’s fun, easy, inexpensive, and is sure to look great. Additionally, you get to add your own flair to it and have the power to make each table look unique and different. How inventive!
