Thinking Outside of the (Jewelry) Box
Wedding jewelry tends to be traditional and understated–think ladylike pearls, delicate diamonds, and soft strands of gold. But with summer on the horizon, we’re thinking outside of the (jewelry) box.
We’re positively smitten with Kendra Scott’s bold, bright statement pieces and think they’re the perfect look-at-me accessories for a spring or summer ceremony.
These Danielle earrings in yellow are just the thing to add a burst of sunshine to your all-white wedding ensemble (particularly if you’ll be carrying a bouquet of daffodils).
Pair them with this stunning Abena cuff bracelet for a serious stand-out look.
If you’re wearing a strapless gown, why not splurge on this exquisite Magnolia statement necklace with turquoise-colored stones?
Kendra Scott even offers jewel-toned cuff links for the groom.
Of course, if you like the classic beauty of white on white, you can’t go wrong with these Nyla starburst earrings.
You can see the rest of Kendra Scott’s bridal collection here. Get ready to swoon!

Fashion Friday – Let Me Style Your Hotel Wedding Look!
Happy Friday, MHW readers! We hope you’ve all had an amazing week.
Today, we’re transporting ourselves into the whimsical world of Claire Pettibone. As a child growing up in the rural wilderness of New York, Claire spent much of her time dreaming up magical worlds. Now, as a couture bridal designer, she uses her fairytale inspiration to create magical gowns for modern brides. We love that her elegantly detailed gowns exude all the grace of a princess without feeling too gaudy.
We picked out a few gowns from Claire Pettibone’s An Earthly Paradise collection to share with you today. This line is garden nymph meets Greek goddess (AKA perfect for the spring and summer!). The lacey intricacies, delicate sheer backs, and statuesque framing of these gowns are to die for. Plus, we love the gorgeous indigo/peach flower crowns and barefoot models! Perfect details for an outdoor or seaside wedding.
Look at how the white lace details pop out against the cream gown. So amazing.
The Helena dress is a gorgeous warm-weather take on the long-sleeved dress. These sheer sleeves are so stunning and perfectly accentuated by the floral cuffs!
Thalia is very Shakespearean princess. How amazing is this flower crown and necklace?! Could be a DIY project in the works…
Delicate lace cap sleeves, pretty pink flowers, and a bow to tie it all together. Does it get any better?
Love these ribbon streamers on the Aphrodite dress. Claire Pettibone does such an amazing job of making simple silhouetted dresses into intricate works of art.
Until next Friday!
